1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup olive oil
3 Tablespoons dry white wine
1 envelope Good Seasons Italian Seasoning Salad Dressing Mix (dry spices)
2 Tablespoons chopped fresh basic, divided
4 Plum Tomatoes, coarsely chopped
1 Tablespoon chopped red onion
1/2 cup Feta Cheese, crumbled
4 Tuna Steaks or 4 Salmon steaks
-
Mix first 4 ingredients until well blended. Stir in 1 Tbsp. basil. Mix 2 Tbsp. dressing mixture with remaining basil, tomatoes, onions and cheese; set aside. Pour remaining dressing mixture over tuna in shallow dish; turn to coat both sides. Cover; refrigerate 30 min. to 1 hour to marinate.
-
Heat greased grill to medium-high heat. Remove tuna from marinade; discard marinade. Grill tuna 5 to 7 min. on each side or until tuna flakes easily with fork.
-
Serve topped with tomato mixture.
Prep time: 10 minutes
Total 1 hours and 24 minures (including marinating)
Makes four servings
Also used salmon fillets with the same recipe. When I did not have the Good Seasons Salad Dressing Mix I used a tablespoon of the herbs mix that I used for bread dipping. Was just as good. Also did in microwave instead of grilling.
